Beetlejuice!
There's some new excitement about this movie due to the success of the musical version at the Tony's. The musical had the opportunity to preform and it was spectacular but it reminded me to watch this movie again. I've stated in a previous article "Beetlejuice is a Tim Burton classic that i could not live without. While making this movie you can tell he put in so much detail and cared about this movie. Plus Micheal Keaton shows a different style to his acting. He tends to play serious characters but this time he choose to be outrageous. I applaud this movie!" This movie has some very clever writing. It has humor that goes straight over kids faces and slaps adults in the face. I couldn't believe some of the jokes that went over my head as a kid. I think i was maybe 5 or 6 when i first saw this movie. It is a Halloween tradition in my household. I don't even understand how my parents let me watch it at such a young age. Was i the only one that didn't notice Beetlejuice goes into a underworld strip club, tries to marry a underage girl who just lost her mother,as well as basically calls Adam a jerk off the whole movie. I feel like every time someone interprets this movie it is totally different every time. Which comes with the nature of this film. Like most of Tim's movies it is full of details. I could only imagine how long make up took but by the looks of it. Micheal could have not showered. We would have no idea. This is funny and extra. Honestly kinda perfect! i will watch it over and over again until i levitate.
