June's MWOM

June has been filled with some really big new adventures for me and i feels like every moment has been for a reason. I am so grateful to have a friend just like June's Movie Watcher of the Month. INTRODUCING MS. KARMEN!!!!!!!!! I met her while preforming in our school musical. She is a very talented dancer and actress. She is a funny young women to be around. We also bonded over our love of "nerdy" shows, comics, books, ext. "I enjoy cosplaying on my free time. I have been doing it with my family all my life and have just started to incorporate makeup into it". She really has a passion for becoming characters and it's always so exciting to see her interpretation of the characters. But when she is watching the shows she would like to see something different. "I would make the protagonist a completely normal person with no hidden destiny or prophecy about them. They would also have no tragic backstory. I would also like to have them have an anxiety disorder." I agree with her. I think mental health should be prevalent on television. It would be beneficial for young children to see a character feel the same way as them. Movies and Televisions have a great power when it comes to spreading emotions across differences in the people watching them. Karmen has a personal connection to a certain 80's cult classic. Ghostbusters and she also enjoys other movies because of the emotions they give her. "it is a favorite in my house so it has given me a bonding topic with my dad. Other than that Me before You made me cry my eyes out and is a sad time movie". She has found that movies give her peace. She finds inspiration in watching talented actors preform. She plans to one day do the same for other people or help people find there own peace. I wish her the best in her dreams and i can not wait to hopefully work beside her one day.
