January's Movie Watcher of the Month!

Our Movie Watcher of the Month is DRUM ROLL PLEASE! Giuseppe Davi! He is a very captivating young man. He is 14 years old but you wouldn't know that by his movie taste. Much like myself he enjoys 80's movie and the classics. While talking to him and interviewing him. He had told me his favorite movie is The Godfather and he loved the style of the way it was filmed. That the script was so well written. We also both got into movies the same way. "Honestly i just used to always love watching movies and then i would watch the behind the scenes stuff"he said when asked. Me and Giuseppe meet in an acting classroom. So we both knew we liked acting but little did i know i would meet someone with a passion for directing almost as much as myself. Giuseppe has his own style and that's why i would love to watch a movie that he has directed because he has an amazing talent of being serious at times but he an infectious smile that makes you want to have fun. It is a very useful skill on movie sets because sometimes you have to have a little bit of fun. It makes sense when you look at his inspirations. Neil Patrick Harris who is best known for his role on How I Met Your Mother. Both Giuseppe and Neil have certain ways of doing things. Some are non-conventional ways but they get the job done. I asked him If you identify with any movie character , who would it be? His response shocked me. "Sebastian (Ryan Gosling) in La La Land". Then going back and watching the movie i could see similar things about them. The last couple of questions were fun to ask because they were questions that aren't too serious. Such as favorite super hero movie and favorite Disney character. In which he quickly responded"The first Spider Man and Kermit The Frog". In which i agreed about the Spider Man because let's admit those were some of the best. The one thing Giuseppe couldn't give me a straight answer for was favorite 80's movie. "I honestly don't know they are all too good but okay, if i had to say...Breakfast Club because i relate to the characters." I asked who does he relate to the most . "John Bender". In conclusion Giuseppe is over all a good guy with an amazing taste in movies. I can't wait to see what he does in the world. Let's just hope he casts me in one of his movies.
