A Dog's Purpose

So I voluntary watched a movie about a reincarnated dog who goes through it as different breeds belonging to various owners. Over the course of multiple lifetimes. I took a lot of time to mentally prepare myself for this movie. I don't personally like this movie but I also don't hate it. I think this movie can be used to help children understand what happens to pets after they die make them see the brighter side of their pet's passing which is extremely sad but I also don't like how they treated their dogs on set. If you didn't know the movie started investigating whether a frightened dog was forced into churning water during the making of A Dog’s Purpose. There was footage published showing a German Shepard swimming in water looking frighten and also being pushed back into the water. The film’s producer, Amblin Entertainment, and distributor, Universal Pictures, said in a joint statement that they are reviewing the footage, but they are confident that “great care and concern was shown” for the dog. I believe that animals should be treated with just as much respect as humans. The animals along with the actors are both having long days on set plus just like actors the animals also have to rehearse and learn their parts just as human actors would learn their lines. Animals should never have to fear while being on set. They should be able to trust their owners/trainers along with their fellow actors. The movie it self told a very sweet story and made me teary eyed. It is very family friendly. It shows what it is like to lose a pet and how it's okay. it teaches kids about death in a very nice way. Death is a very difficult topic and they handled it very well.
