Mama Mia Here We Go Again

So being completely honest which I promised to be on here. I didn't love this movie like I thought I would. I had such high expectations for this movie. If you didn't know Mama Mia made $615.70 million USD and has been one of the most well know "chick flic" movies out there. Mama Mia here we go again made $120,634,935 as of the 11th October 2018. Fans were very excited that this beloved musical was getting a sequel. But, I have to say my expectations were not met. I was expecting songs and dance numbers that would make me want to jump up and start singing like the first one. But, this one it felt the songs weren't driven. The plot didn't flow either. I felt like I was jumping all over the place and for some reasons couple that worked before lost every bit of chemistry. I do enjoy that they made an attempt to go into more of Donna's back story. We get to see how she became the Donna we know and love. But this is what gets me mad. They brought her in for a cameo which lasted maybe two minutes but we couldn't they have brought her in for the whole movie. Also Cher was way too advertised for being in the last 20 minutes of the movie. This movie was far less superior then it's original.
