You voted ....

Today we are shaking it up a bit. I asked on Instagram if you guys and girls would like a review on a movie or a musical. You voted on MUSICAL!!!!!

Over the summer i had the pleasure of going to see my first production in New York. I made sure i went to it with an open mind. I never listen to the soundtrack, never saw any bootleg versions of it, and never asked a opinion for anyone about the musical. I went on July 20th 2018 to Westchester Broadway Theatre. The theater is an Arena theater ( meaning it had seating on three sides of the stage). I sat front row and it was amazing. When you first get there you have dinner first. I had crab cake, salmon and baked potato. We also were served calamari and for dessert we had peach vanilla ice cream with a crunchy cookie. The food was fantastic! We were given tea and water. We had a choice of soda but i prefer water. The show from the beginning caught my attention with sets, backdrops, and music. It really transported me to the 1930's. If you do not know Anything Goes ( the musical i went to see) is about when the prohibition had ended and everyone went looking for jobs prospect in the industry again by singing in bars on ships. This musical has a cast of colorful characters and not to mention so much attention to detail. You can see it in their choreography. They all seemed to enjoy what they what they were doing. The company made sure you felt safe and at home. Please go see one of their many productions when you get the chance!
