These characters have been a life time classic for kids of all ages. In recent years they have slowly been forgotten by the younger generation. This movie brings them back to life in a whole new perspective. Even Christopher Robin has slowly started to forget his friends in The Hundred Acre Woods. This is understandable because he has grown up to have lots of responsibilities. But during the course of the movie his childhood friends teach him that those responsibilities are just new adventures. It's not until Pooh comes to London that he realizes to figure out his future he needs to visit the past. I think Christopher represent the older generation that grew up reading the books and watching the old cartoons and Christopher's daughter Madeline represents the younger generation who has heard about the characters but has yet to experience anything with them. I feel this a very smart move on Disney's part because they noticed (as they always do) that kids weren't as excited to see these characters as others. So they created a movie the whole family will love. Each character has the same distinctive voice. Pooh is still cute as ever. I just think the characters have developed a modern sense of humor. They are very sarcastic and dimwitted. I enjoyed see people of different ages enjoy this movie as much as i did. I think it was easy for younger kids to understand without it being boring for the adults. I also want to give all my respect to the animators/ special effects team on this movie because they bought the characters to life. You can see the difference in texture with each character. It adds a layer because you can imagine how they feel. This movie was so cute and made me feel very nostalgic. I would definitely would see it again.
