Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
Okay, i will be truthful i didn't want to see this movie at first. But, my reasoning for that feeling is realistic and logical. Usually sequels are not that good. Let's be honest when Hollywood re-makes movies they will never beat the original. This movie is no exception to that. I am a die hard fan of the late great Robin Williams. So hearing they were going to re create this movie and that the game wouldn't be coming into our world and it was a video game. I was skeptical. I was convinced to go by my younger sister. I did have to admit that it would bring this story to a new generation. The movie started and your already got a clear view of what was going on. You got to know the characters very quickly and you understood them which i enjoyed. Now while in the video game the actors and actress make amazing choices. Jack Black was my personal favorite because he played a 16 year old girl while being in a man's body which lead to some very funny jokes that adults and teenagers can enjoy. You see the actors play the teenagers while playing as these avatars. They were very much like real teenagers as well. A part of the movie i favored is when the try to teach one of the characters how to flirt in which she is extremely bad , uncoordinated, and it is very problematic. I relate to this because i am really shy and not very educated in flirting. I tend to just ask questions and make embarrassing musical theater puns that no one understands expect for my one friend that i forced to listen to musical soundtracks. I feel like a lot of people are like that as teens. They don't know what to say or
do. They figure that out later. Plus this movie wasn't just great for the teens and children watching but the adults that grew up with the original. You see little eggs everywhere making nods to the first movie. It's great to see. Over all great movie. Next week i am going to write a fan theory i have about this movie. So stay tuned.
